Orlando-based Real Estate Title Agent Teresa Tavera has worked in career roles within the field for nearly 20 years, charged with responsibility for all aspects of real estate transactions—from entering an initial order through issuance of its final policy of title insurance.
Additionally, she offers expertise in processing, closing and post closings assigned files, as well as interacting with realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers & clients to ensure smooth and accurate transactions; reviewing and clearing requirements on title commitments and lender closing instructions for compliance status; ordering, reviewing and disclosing matters on surveys, pest inspections, insurance certificates and sales contracts; and preparing preliminary HUD, deeds, escrow agreements and all other settlement documents.
Tavera currently serves as the Manager of American Latin Title in Orlando. This follows three years as a Processor for Miami Lake’s Absolute Title; a decade as a Processor and Closer working with data entry, disbursement of funds and escrow with All Title Services in Hollywood, Fla.; and a Senior Processor with Deluxe Title in Miami.
She is a Notary Public within the State of Florida, holds a Resident Insurance License with the Florida Department of Financial Services, and earned Certificates of Completion from Attorneys’ Title Fund Services, LLC (for completion of Fund Basic Affiliate Training) as well as Notary2Pro (for completion of the Professional Signing Agent Course). Additionally, Tavera is a member of American Association of Notaries, American Land Title Association, Hunters Creek Women’s Association and The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professional NAHREP.
She studied Immigration Law with the Law Office of Robert Sheldon, and earned a Title Agent diploma from Miami-Dade Community College, and certification in Real Estate Education from the Gold Coast School of Real Estate.
